This verse seems appropriate for many in my life right now. There have been tragedies, hard times, and confusion in the recent days. This is a time for us to embrace each other and support one another. We are supposed to help each other during times like this. Let's allow our hearts to be open and warm, even to those that we are not the biggest fans of. Everyone needs someone. Remember that there have been times when you needed someone as well. Be for someone what you would like for someone to be for you. Give the same type of love and compassion that you would want someone to give to you. Just as we are to celebrate one another, we should uplift and support one another in the gray times. Be a light for someone who can't smile right now. It really doesn't take a lot. They may not need you to tell a joke, or play a game, or really anything other than to just be there. So do that...just be there. You never know how much it will mean.
